Women's Empowerment

Join UCSS to Empower Women in Uganda

Part of our approach to holistically helping a community out of poverty is educating women and giving them the tools and training necessary to meet their economic goals.

Our groups focusing on Economic and agriculture development in Eastern Uganda are helping communities become self-sufficient by giving people skills & training they need to live well and so they can start their own businesses to provide for their families.

The economic development department has continued to grow and expand and currently has 58 groups serving over 1000 people. These groups have various focuses including agriculture and farming, business associations, and tailoring. They are helping communities become self-sufficient and productive.
